THE Derby Telegraph's sister publication, the Derbyshire Magazine, has once again been short-listed for a major industry accolade.

The title is nominated in the Regional Magazine of the Year category in the annual Newspaper Awards.

Now in their 14th year, the awards recognise excellence across both the regional and national media. Winners will be revealed at a gala dinner at the London Hilton on April 21.

Last year the Derbyshire Magazine was named Midlands Magazine of the Year and short-listed for UK Magazine of the Year at the Regional Press Awards. Steve Hall, editor of the Derby Telegraph Media Group, said he was delighted that the quality of the publication had once again been recognised.

He said: "The Derbyshire Magazine celebrates all that is best about life in our magnificent county.

"Our talented team of journalists consistently produces a product which delights readers and advertisers and, as this nomination shows, also finds favour with industry judges."

The March issue of the magazine is available in newsagents now and April's edition will be on shelves within days.
