Couple attacked outside the White Lion pub, Heanor, Derbyshire
POLICE are appealing for information after a couple were assaulted outside a pub in Heanor.
The assault took place at around 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 27 outside the White Lion pub, Breach Road.

A 47-year-old woman was outside the building when she got into an argument with two women who then allegedly assaulted her.
The victim was joined by her partner, a 47-year-old man, who tried to intervene.

A group of around five teenagers then arrived and assaulted the victim’s partner. The couple then left in a taxi.
The woman suffered bruising and the man cuts and bruising which he received treatment for at hospital.
Police were contacted by the ambulance service who had been called by the victims a short time after the assault took place.
