Crews spend 30 minutes tackling fire outside Derby block of flats

FIREFIGHTERS were called to put out a blaze in a refuse shed at a block of flats in Derby.

Crews from three separate stations spent 30 minutes tackling the flames outside Cavendish Court after being called there at 4am today.

Police and the ambulance services were also called but no-one was reported as hurt, a fire service spokesman said.

The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
