Crofters are denied last-gasp victory by the width of the bar
BURTON came within inches of snatching a last-gasp victory over Midlands One West rivals Stoke at Peel Croft.
With time up, Lewis Brooks' penalty attempt from 35 metres agonisingly bounced back off the bar as the Crofters suffered a narrow home defeat.

Burton had seemed in control with half an hour to go, leading 15-3.
But Stoke rallied with tries from Thomas Hughes and Carl Williams, both converted by Chris Rowley, to turn the game around.
