Cromford Canal to be awarded a blue plaque
CROMFORD Canal will be the next Derbyshire landmark to have a blue plaque unveiled.
The ceremony will take place on Tuesday next week at the canal's High Peak junction.

The plaque will celebrate the history of Cromford Canal, which played a pivotal role in the transformation of the Derwent Valley.
Councillor Andrew Lewer, leader of Derbyshire County Council, will make a speech before unveiling the plaque.
