Crowbar is used to hit burglary victim

A WOMAN was hit in the face with a crowbar when two burglars entered her home.

The incident happened at 8.20pm on Wednesday when two men entered a property in Stafford Street, Long Eaton, and demanded money from the 25-year-old female occupant.

One of the men hit the woman with a crowbar, cutting her face. He stole her mobile phone and a laptop before the pair ran off.

One man is described as white, 20-to-25 years old, six feet tall, of slim build with a gaunt face and wearing a blue waterproof jacket, dark blue tracksuit bottoms and a black woolly beanie hat.
