DERBY Telegraph readers can get their hands on cut-price tickets to 13 local attractions this autumn with our latest promotion.

Our Autumn Days Out offer means families can take advantage of huge savings to places like Alton Towers, Twycross Zoo, Drayton Manor Park and the Heights of Abraham.

Readers can save more than £200 on admission to the 13 different attractions – giving parents a wealth of ideas on how to entertain the kids during the school break.

Promotions manager Caroline Lowe said that the choice on offer means everyone should find a cheap day out to suit them.

She said: "It doesn't matter what you enjoy doing, we've made sure we are catering for everybody.

"From theme parks and a zoo to a museum and an historic castle, nobody will be disappointed."

Among the offers are two-for-one deals, money-off vouchers and kids-go-free promotions.

Alton Towers spokeswoman Nuala Gallagher said: "We're delighted to offer Derby Telegraph readers these vouchers. The next month or so in particular should be a really exciting time at the park."

Visitors to Alton Towers can use the Telegraph's two-for-one vouchers during the Halloween Scarefest event and the fireworks displays, when opening is extended until 9pm.

Nuala said: "We have spent more money on our fireworks than ever before so it's going to be amazing."

Readers can also get money off at Warwick Castle, Conkers, near Ashby-de-la-Zouch, and Trentham Monkey Forest, Stoke-on-Trent.

And for those who want an educational trip, fantastic offers are available for the Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum and the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley.

Animal-lovers can go to the Sea Life in Birmingham, while thrill-seekers can also use our offers at Gulliver's, near Matlock, and Waterworld in Staffordshire.

Finally, our promotion also includes special rates for laser gun-slinging at Megazone, in the Willows Sports Centre, Derby.

Caroline said: "It's a really great way to celebrate half-term and keep the children entertained.

"And there's no reason readers can't go to more than one of these places – or even all of them!"

The promotion starts on Monday and runs until October 27. Tokens will appear in the paper each day.

All readers need to do is to cut out and keep enough tokens for the attraction they want to visit and attach them to the admission forms to be printed in the Telegraph.
