A CYCLIST has been killed following a collision in Derbyshire.

The 42-year-old man died after the bicycle he was riding collided with a white articulated lorry.

The accident happened at around 9.30pm last night on the westbound carriageway of the A50 at Doveridge.

The cyclist next of kin have been informed and Derbyshire Police is asking anyone who may have seen either vehicle prior to the collision to contact them on 01773 572929.
