Dan Redfern cleared to play after finger injury on Derbyshire CCC tour of Barbados
DAN Redfern may be able to bat today after x-rays showed no break in the finger he injured on the first day of practice in Barbados.
The 22-year-old batsman dislocated the ring finger on his right hand in slip catching practice yesterday. He was taken to a nearby medical centre to check the extent of the damage but the x-ray showed it was not broken.

Derbyshire are to play the first day of a two-day match against Northants at North Stars today. They are to bat one day and bowl the next and if Derbyshire have the chance to bat on the second day, Redfern will be able to play.
