Dan's Redfern's finger injury
DAN Redfern suffered a dislocated finger at the end of what had been, up to then, a very good first net session for Derbyshire.
He injured the ring finger on his left hand in slip catching practice. The batsman was taken to a nearby medical centre when the squad got back to the hotel to make sure there was no fracture.
Otherwise, Derbyshire could be very happy with their first day's work, with all playing members of the squad involved.
