Dancers take a bow at school
A DERBYSHIRE secondary school has staged its first dance show.
Although Alfreton Grange Arts College, formerly Mortimer Wilson School, is famed for its musicals, pupils have never showcased dance.
Called Fusion, the show brought together a myriad of genres of dance, ballet, street dancing and jazz style with around 80 students involved in the production.
Dance teacher Vicky Callaghan said: "What was so inspiring was our students' adaptability and willingness to try any dance style and theme thrown at them."
