Derby Braves American footballers lose out in BUCS semi-final
DERBY Braves, the University of Derby's American Football team, saw their unbeaten run come to an end as they lost 63-7 to Birmingham Lions in the semi-final of the British Universities and Colleges Sports championship.
Elliot Strong scored the Braves’ only points of the game as they came up against a strong and determined Lions side.

The Braves had not lost a game all season prior to this, winning all eight of their conference games and despatching Portsmouth Destroyers in the quarter-final last week.
