Derby City Council spends £2,000 on foster carers plea to go out with council tax bills
A NEW leaflet encouraging foster carers to take on Derby's children in care is to be sent out to 106,000 city households.
The city council has spent about £2,000 on the documents, which will be sent out with households' council tax bills.
It answers frequently-asked questions about fostering, fostering allowances and how to contact the authority for more details.
A council spokeswoman said: "This will be the 13th year there will be fostering information sent with the council tax bill, which will be distributed from Saturday.
