​Premier Division One

Punjab 1-0 Cobra Oakwood

                  

With a first half goal from Gurvinder Johal in the bag, Punjab managed to hold off the Cobra attack to earn three valuable points.

Premier Division Two

AFC Brinsley Durham OX 0-1 Half Moon

                    

At the half way stage the two sides were level pegging but Damien Ellul managed to find the back of the net during the second half giving the visiting Half Moon the win.

Belper Athletic 5-3 Shadows

                    

Belper Athletic put in a good first half performance beating the Shadow’s keeper on three occasions. The second half however didn’t go all Belper’s way with Osman Matsafa and Usmann Mohammad (2) finding scoring ways. Belper did however score twice more, their scorers were Chris Perry, Daniel Melbourne and Chris Baker (3).

Derwent 4-0 Rolls Royce ARO Leisure

                   

Derwent showed, throughout both halves, their determination to win with two goals either side of the half time whistle. The goals came thanks to Richard Godfrey, Danny Hadley and Paul King with two.

Senior Division One

Boulton Lane PR Res 2-0 Heanor Lions Seniors

                          

After a first half that saw neither side taking the advantage, Boulton Lane’s Gari Hill and Tom Breslin secured a goal each in the second half winning the game for the home side.

Darley Abbey Colts 3-3 Cavaliers

                  

With the score level at 1-1 as the half time whistle blew, nothing could separate the two sides. Even after the second 45 minutes, despite both sides scoring, there was nothing between the sides. Matt Brown (2) and Simon Steadman were the goal scorers for Darley, with Kevin Morrow and Ben Greatorex scoring for Cavliers.

FC Bruckside 0-5 The Blue Bell

                

Five goals for the visitors ensured that the three points would leave with them .The Blue Bell’s Dan Wileman, Adam Birch, Adam Briggs and Jack Tivey (2) each beat the Bruckside defence to earn the victory.

              

League Challenge Trophy – Round 3

Codnor 1-2 Jessop Celtic (After Extra Time)

                           

Codnor and Jessop Celtic were so well matched that only extra time could separate the two. Codnor did get off to a good start heading into the half time break with a one goal lead thanks to Scott Harrison. But during the second Jessop Celtic pulled it back to force the extra time. During the extra time the Celtic netted to secure a place in the next round. The scorers for the Celtic were Chris Fulk and Paul Young.

 

 FC Five Lamps 8-1 West Hallam

                   

Shaun Staniford and Alan Stanley both scored for Five Lamps with Martin Green, Matt Miller and Aaron Jeffers all netting twice each. West Hallam were able to find one goal but it was nothing to match the attacking force of Five Lamps.

FC Mackworth 0-13 Normanton Allstars

                     

Normanton dominated from the off and beat the keeper on 13 separate occasions, with no reply from the Mackworth side. Jason James lead the scoring four, followed by three from Duran McCalla, Jason James and Troy black both with two, and Jeremy Asumang and Gareth Black adding a further two between them.

Field Lane 82 3-0 Arboretum

                     

Field Lane were able to capitalise on their two goal first half lead by adding another goal during the second half. The scorers were Aidan Hart, Paul Hilton and Kyle Trask, with no reply from Arboretum.

Ockbrook ’89 4-1 Field Lane

                    

The half time score saw both the sides level, with the Field Lane equaliser coming from Jamie Farrow. Ockbrook had things more their own way during the second half which saw them add a further three goals to the tally. Their scorers were Dean Atterbury, Adam Gillingham and two from Joel Stewert.

Wirksworth Albion 7-1 Darley Sports

                          

There seemed to be no way of stopping Wirksworth in the first half as they amassed six goals in the first 45 minutes. The second half saw Wirksworth add another as well as the Darley side netting a consolation goal thanks to Dale Spencer. The Wirksworth scorers were Billy Lobley, Andrew Annable, Scott Gascoyne with Gary Webster and Joe Kay each finding two.
