Former Derby County and Burton Albion player Darren Moore relieved of duties at Blackburn Rovers
FORMER Derby County and Burton Albion centre-back Darren Moore has been sacked by Blackburn Rovers as first-team coach following the dismissal of manager Michael Appleton.
Moore, who made over 90 appearances for The Rams between 2006 and 2008, only arrived at Ewood Park at the end of January.

A statement from Blackburn read: "Blackburn Rovers FC can confirm that Michael Appleton has been relieved of his duties as manager along with assistant manager Ashley Westwood, first-team coach Darren Moore and head of senior recruitment Luke Dowling."
