NIGEL Clough has described the performance in the FA Youth Cup victory over Manchester City as the best by Derby County's under-18 side in his four years as manager.

Derby won away to Arsenal in last season's competition before they fell to Manchester United. The win against City has booked a quarter-final tie at home to Chelsea.

"Manchester City had one or two shots in the whole game, which is down to a great defensive and team display by the youngsters.
