Derby County squad numbers revealed
Polish international Przemyslaw Kazmierczak, who signed from
FC Porto this week, has been handed Derby County's number six
shirt for the new season. The Rams's squad numbers were
announced this morning.
Kazmierczak, known as "Kaz", is one of 11 summer signings
made by manager Paul Jewell.
Of the others, Paul Green will wear four, Kris Commons
seven, Nathan Ellington nine and Rob Hulse 11
Robbie Savage, who wore 44 last season, has the number eight
and goalkeeper Roy Carroll will wear number one.

“Well done Shrew, I see what you did there. A Football player has a shirt with a number on it. Football teams play for points in a league system - points are also numbers. How unusual that a football player might have a number on the back of their shirt which equates to another number that relates to the same team the player is playing for. I notice that Roy Caroll has number 1 on the back of his shirt which is exactly the same margin of goals that we won by in our only victory last season. Now that is spooky!
