Melbourne Utd 6 v 1 Normanton All Stars

Matt Redfern paved the way for a Melbourne win with the first hat trick of the weekend.  Luke Earp and Tom Gibbs added to the scoreline.

Gad Khalsa 2 v 2 Allestree Lyon

The two top teams from group 1 met and showed there was nothing to choose between them.  Panganayi Mugadza and Inderveer Mann scored for Gad Khalsa; Sam Bate and Harvey Waddingham replied for Allestree

Roe Farm Centurions 4 v 2 Derwent

The home side went away with maximum points, Joshua Gregory, Jak Taylor and Ryan Richards accounting for the goals.

Under 9 Group 2

Mickleover Jubilee Magpies 2 v 1 Belper Sports

Mickleover pulled off a fine victory over close rivals Belper to put them level on points.  Cameron Redfern scored for Mickleover; Sam Frost for Belper

St Georges 4 v 1 West Hallam Blues

Jack Holden and Faris Mushtaq scored a goal each and Brandon Grewal two for the home side.

Under 9 Group 5

Heanor Juniors 6 v 0 Castle Donington

Heanor moved to within a point of Littleover Dazzlers who were involved in the cup this weekend.  Benjamin Oates scored a hat trick, Ethan Bell got two and Callum Clifton one

Sherwin 0 v 1 Ashbourne Aztecs

Ashbourne celebrated their first win of the season as Matthew Bacon scored the only goal

Under 10 Group 1

Breedon Wanderers 0 v 3 Allestree Juniors Juventus

Allestree got their first win to lift them off the bottom of the table.  Niall Harrison got two and Henry Rose one

Gad Khalsa 3 v 1 Mickleover All Stars

GK rose from fifth to third on the strength of a good victory.  Guveer Sudle and Rajan Soor scored.  William Ledingham got Mickleover’s consolation goal

Bramcote Royals 1 v 2 Allestree Juniors Seville

Allestree got their first win as Charlie Carpenter and Joseph Cleslar scored

Pear Tree All Stars 1 v 1 Loughborough Emmanuel

Pear Tree kept Loughborough Emmanuel to a surprising draw, Nial Walters scoring for the home team and Mohammed Aljaff for the visitors

Under 10 Group 3

Duffield Dynamo Falcons 0 v 2 Belper Town Black Sox

Lewis Elliott and Alex Wild both hit the back of the net, bagging three points for Belper

Little Eaton Diamonds 1 v 3 Belper Sports

Belper triumphantly held third spot as Seth Beyan and Daniel Bell scored

Toton Colts 1 v 2 Spondon Rovers Gems

Spondon just managed to get the better of their Toton opposition and keep their unbeaten record intact.  Morgan Holloway and Finley Murray scored

Melbourne Utd Blue Sox 10 v 1 Ashbourne Aztec Lions

An avalanche of goals hit Ashbourne for six as James Payne put five past them and team mate Elliot Thompson three.  Darius Fern and William Silkstone also found themselves on the scoresheet

Redwood Rockets 2 v 4 West Hallam Juniors

West Hallam’s season gets better as they move up a place.

Spondon came away victorious after Cameron Mannion and Ryan Toward scored

Normanton All Stars 1 v 1 Sinfin Sharks Orange

This was the only league game to be played in group five and both teams had to settle for a share of the points.  Callum Jones scored for the home side and Thomas Leighton for the visitors

U9 KEN MEMORIAL OXFORD CUP – ROUND 2

Littleover Villa 0 v 1 Mackworth St Francis

Mackworth go through to the next round of the cup after a closely fought match, which ended with Megan Williamson scoring the only and winning goal

West Hallam White Sox 5 v 1 Littleover Dazzlers

West Hallam made easy work of their opposition.  Joe Newnham, Mitchell Sanders, Jack Haynes and Finlay Byrne all scored. They now meet AFC Red Star in the next round

Allestree Juniors Roma 0 v 1 AFC Red Star

Mitchel Roe scored the winning goal for AFC Red Star but only after the game had gone to extra time and penalties

Stanton Ilkeston 2 v 9 Spondon Dynamo Black Sox

Spondon Dynamo made light work of their passage to the quarter finals, but might meet their match in an interesting tie with Chesapeake.  Aaron Treece scored three times, Daniel Bates, Bradley Sharpe and Ted Harris twice each

Sinfin Sharks 1 v 0 Cobra Oakwood

Cobra were pipped to the quarter finals by a single goal scored by Omari Lewis Fagan.

Duffield Dynamo Black Sox 0 v 1 Belper Town Black Sox

Two sets of black socks, but again a single goal to settle the tie. Charlie Joyce scored and his team meet Sinfin next.

Chesapeake 11 v 0 Chellaston Boys

Chellaston were unceremoniously put out of the competition as the goals flew in for Chesapeake.  Tommy Tillotson scored five, Joshua Riley got three and Callum Hough, Kieron Hobday and Declan Bate scored.

Pride Park Juniors 1 v 3 Mickleover 95 Sharks

Pride Park’s cup run came to an end as Charlie Stone scored two and Alex Mee one for the Sharks

U10 GUISEPPE CALDERONE CUP

Field Lane Phantoms 3 v 2 Ilkeston Town Juniors Robins

Adam Richardson and Harry New scored for their respective teams to leave them both level at the final whistle.  Field Lane were the victors after the penalty shoot out went their way.

Allestree Juniors Rangers 3 v 0 Sinfin Sharks

Sinfin’s u10s failed to reproduce what the U9 achieved and were sent out due to two goals by Brad Fishwick and one by Dan Brady

Littleover Dazzlers 6 v 2 Duffield Dynamo Eagles

By contrast, the Dazzlers U10 team did make it to the quarter finals where they will meet Mickleover 95 Rams

St Georges Greens 1 v 2 Chesapeake

St Georges finally came unstuck as Elliot Parkin’s goal was cancelled out by strikes from Daniel Knight and Owen Stokes

Bramcote Blues 0 v 1 Ilkeston Town

Ilkeston will come up against Melbourne Utd Red Sox in the quarter final as Ryan Wheelan’s only goal sent them through

Spondon Dynamo Black Sox 3 v 0 Mickleover Jubilee Dragons

Jack Caldbeck scored two and Zack Hannah one as Spondon make it through to the quarter finals
