Derby city centre traffic building and delays on train services
UPDATED 10.10am: THE A38 southbound and A52 coming into Derby are both slow at the Markeaton island. There is queueing traffic at the Prince Charles Avenue junction where the roadworks are.
Traffic is now free flowing in Long Eaton after an earlier road closure in Chilwell causing back-ups.

Trains are delayed between Derby and Chesterfield this morning because of over run engineering works on the line between Chesterfield and Belper.
St Alkmund's Way is busy in the road works area with temporary traffic lights holding up motorists. This is affecting the traffic on Kedleston Road and Duffield Road coming in to the city. Both are heavy with cars coming into the city centre.
