DERBYSHIRE beat Leicestershire by seven wickets in the Twenty20 Cup at the County Ground today.

The hosts won the toss and decided to field first, Leicestershire making 118-6 in their 20 overs.

Wavell Hinds was the leading wicket-taker with two for Derbyshire and he then led the way with the bat.

The West Indies batsman made 42 as Derbyshire reached their target in 18 overs for the loss of three wickets.
