Derbyshire's fire service busy at Shardlow, Ilkeston and on the A52, near Spondon
FOUR firefighters were needed to put out a fire which started in a garage at a house in Shardlow today.
It was among three incidents which Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to in the space of two hours.

Derbyshire's firefighters have been kept busy today
The blaze at the double garage, in Wilne Lane, started at 10am and it took at least 40 minutes to put out.
A spokesman for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said, at its height, four firefighters were needed to tackle it.

At 8.05am, they were called to a house fire in Cook Drive, Ilkeston, and spent 20 minutes extinguishing it, before carrying out an investigation.
And they were also sent to a two-car collision on the A52, near Spondon, at 8.10am but did not need to free anyone trapped in the vehicles.
It is not known if anyone was injured in any of the incidents.
