Derbyshire were bowled out for 194 in the last over before tea in their final LV County Championship match against Leicestershire at Grace Road.

Led by Graham Wagg for the first time, it was a treacherous surface that greeted Derbyshire after they had won the toss with plenty of seam movement and they were soon in trouble as Steve Stubbings left the first ball of the second over and was bowled at 1-1.

In the third over, Dom Telo chased a full ball from Garnet Kruger and was caught at first slip, then Paul Borrington was bowled for 13 by a fine ball from Lee Daggett, making his Championship debut after being released by Warwickshire.

That left them 44-3 but Dan Redfern and Greg Smith put on 46 before Smith played a loose shot at Kruger and was caught at first slip for 22.

Redfern fell for 47 in the first over after lunch and though there was stout resistance on his first-class debut for academy product Ross Whiteley (27) and Jake Needham (23), Leicestershire took wickets regularly and Kruger finished with 5-51.
