DERBYSHIRE suffered an 11-run defeat against Yorkshire in

the Twenty20 Cup at Chesterfield today.

Yorkshire won the toss in the North Division encounter at

Queen's Park and decided to bat as they aimed to avenge the

defeat they suffered against Derbyshire at Headingley Carnegie

on Thursday.

They made 169-5 in their 20 overs, with Anthony McGrath

top-scoring with 72.

Derbyshire fell 11 runs short as they closed at 158-6.

Greg Smith was Derbyshire's top scorer with 68.
