Derbyshire finally bowled Middlesex out for 306 at

tea on the second day of their LV County Championship match at

the County Ground.

It took them exactly 100 overs in a low-key game in which the

wickets were evenly distributed and no-one shone with the

bat.

Ben Scott the first to go for 19, run out by an accurate throw

from deep midwicket by Graham Wagg to the wicketkeeper after

Scott had recklessly set off for a third run.

It was 201-5 when Dan Housego, on his first-class debut, had

his middle and off stumps knocked over by Jon Clare for 23 and

10 overs later, Gareth Berg top edged a pull at Wavell Hinds

and was caught by substitute fielder Jan Adendorff running

around from mid on.

Berg made 26 and the score was 226-6.

After lunch, Dawid Malan, who resumed his innings at the

fall of Housego's wicket after being sent to hospital for

an x-ray on his injured forearm, miscued a pull to Dan Birch at

mid off to give Hinds a second wicket.

Tim Murtagh was lbw to Ian Hunter for 20, Alan Richardson was

caught at second slip off Charl Langeveldt for two and Danny

Evans was finally last out for five, bowled by Wagg.
