Don't be late for a Wonderland date
THE surreal world of Lewis Carroll will be brought to life by the Long Eaton Operatic Society's Youth Group next week when it presents Alice In Wonderland Junior – a musical based on the much-loved Disney film.
Audiences can enjoy Alice's madcap adventures in Wonderland as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles, raps with a bubble-blowing caterpillar and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game!

Beth Ward as Small Alice, Hazel Lawrence as Alice and Hannah Smith as Tall Alice.
In addition to three different Alices, the production has also demanded actors to play Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the Dormouse and three Cheshire Cats, plus a host of wacky creations.
This adaptation features updated dialogue and new arrangements songs I'm Late, the Unbirthday Song and Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.

The show will be performed at Long Eaton's Duchess Theatre from February 21 to 23 at 7.30pm. There is a matinee performance on Saturday at 2.30pm.
