Dreamliner set to resume flights
FLIGHTS of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner look set to resume after the US airline regulator approved a set of fixes to the battery of the aircraft.
The Federal Aviation Administration approved Boeing’s plan, which it said requires it to “conduct extensive testing and analysis”.

All 50 Dreamliners in operation, including those powered by Derby-built Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines, have been grounded over the past few weeks.
The Dreamliner’s lithium ion batteries emitted smoke in several separate incidents, raising concerns.
