A THEME park in Derbyshire is preparing to open its doors with an exciting Easter programme.

Gulliver's Kingdom, in Matlock Bath, will be offering children a chance to take part in a Grand Easter Egg Hunt on April 4 and 5.

Easter weekend will also see it hold its annual Easter bonnet parade.

There will be £1 off admission for children who come along in homemade bonnets, as well as a prize for the best bonnet.

Children can also enjoy Easter-themed arts and crafts in addition to the park's usual rides, attractions and entertainment.

Gulliver's will open for the Easter break, April 6 to 25.

Julie Dalton, managing director, said: "We can't wait to welcome families back to Gulliver's for 2010.

"We've been busy getting everything ready and Easter is one of our favourite times of the year – there's so much for children to do, and it's a great fun and affordable day out for the whole family."
