Derby County: Eranio gets the nod in all-time greats team
STEFANO Eranio is the latest name to be added to Derby County's greatest-ever team.
The Derby Telegraph has teamed up with the Rams to find a legendary XI and manager as part of the club's 125th anniversary celebrations.

Eranio has come out on top in the vote for Derby fans' favourite right-sided midfielder.
The stylish Italian joins goalkeeper Colin Boulton, right-back Ron Webster, left-back David Nish and centre-backs Roy McFarland and Igor Stimac.
Eranio, now a youth coach at former club AC Milan, romped to victory in our poll, receiving 50% of the total votes cast.
He picked up twice as many as his nearest challenger, Ted McMinn, who came a clear second with 23% of the vote.
Third place was taken by Sammy Crooks, who accounted for 7% of the vote.
Gary Micklewhite was fourth, with the likes of Alan Durban, Archie Gemmill, John McGovern and Bruce Rioch also recognised by some fans.
Eranio's arrival from AC Milan in 1997 coincided with the opening of Pride Park Stadium and was a great coup by manager Jim Smith.
The Italian international was a joy to watch, with his instant control, passing and ability to score goals.
A broken leg halted his progress in November 1999 but the Genoa-born player came back strongly.
He planned to retire at the end of the 2000-1 campaign and was given an emotional farewell from the fans.
Eranio returned the following season as a favour to Smith but soon left the club when the manager lost his job. He made a total of 108 appearances for Derby, scoring 10 goals.
Of all those who voted for Eranio, one has been picked out to win a Derby shirt with the player's name and number on the back. That fan is Sue Seeds, from Belper.
Sue, who originally hails from Cornwall, moved to the area 20 years ago and has been a Rams season ticket holder for the past 17 years.
"Watching the likes of Eranio, Baiano and Wanchope was my best time as Derby County supporter," she said.
"Eranio linked up with them so well and was pure class.
"I couldn't wait for Saturday or midweek matches. It was a good time to be a Derby fan.
"My husband, Kevin, followed Derby through the Clough years but this was the best I had seen.
"Eranio was an amazing player and was just really exciting to watch, he really was. We could do with a player like him now."
This month, fans have the chance to name the left-sided midfielder they feel should be in the team.
Paul Simpson, who starred for the Rams during the 1990s, is likely to get Sue's vote this time.
"Simmo was another class player who was one of the greatest in that position, in my view," she said.
"I can only comment on what I have seen but he was a great player."
Fans have until July 25 to cast their votes for their favourite left-midfielder and can do so by filling in the coupon, by email or by visiting therams.co.uk and dcfc.co.uk.

“If only we had a player with half of Eranio's quality in todays team.”
