Erewash sports centre gets top national award
Sandiacre Friesland Sports Centre has won a national award for excellence in customer satisfaction – putting it in the top 10 best performers in England.
The award was given by Sport England after an inspection last year when customers were asked a series of questions, over a nine-day period, about their experience of using the leisure facility.

Results from the survey were then compared against other centres across the country which put the Sandiacre Friesland centre in the top 10 best performers.
Councillor Mike Wallis, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Culture and Leisure, said: “The award is a tribute to our team at Sandiacre Friesland and I congratulate them all on this success.
