Nigel Clough is delighted that Derby County will have a big following at Elland Road.
Now they have been sent an extra 1,100 tickets.
"To have sold almost 1,700 tickets already is a great achievement and it would be fantastic to have all 2,800 seats taken up," said manager Nigel Clough.
"Our supporters are magnificent home and away and we really appreciate the volume of numbers who back us.
"Their support will be vital to us once again. To run out at Elland Road with a full allocation behind us will give us a great deal of confidence and, hopefully, we can reward them with a positive result."
Tickets for the Leeds clash are on general sale. They cost £29 for adults, £19 for senior citizens and £15 for under 16s.
Tickets for Derby's Carling Cup first-round tie away at Crewe on August 10 are also on general sale.
They are priced £15 for adults, £10 for senior citizens, £5 for 12 to 16-year-olds and £3 for under-11s.
