Family hit it off with tennis star Murray and mum
BRITISH number one tennis player Andy Murray and his mother, Judy, talked about their memories of Derbyshire when meeting a county family during a competition.
Rob Salmon, 39, his wife, Beccy, 33, and his children, Phoebe, five, and Stanley, two, won an online contest to meet the pair in Scotland yesterday.
Murray was once the junior doubles partner of Derbyshire coach and Beccy's relative, Tom Rushby, and the pair reached the semi-finals of junior Wimbledon.
Judy was also a friend of Tom's mother, Jane, as both used to represent their counties in tournaments.

Judy told the Derby Telegraph: "It was great to meet Rob's family and make that connection. It was nice to talk about Derbyshire and chat about the friends we have there in common. I'm so glad they made the trip up."
The day, called Set4Sport and supported by RBS, saw Judy and Andy take competition-winning families through games played by the tennis star and his brother, Jamie, as children more than 20 years ago.
Rob, who lives near Hilton, said: "It was a brilliant day, good fun and very inspiring.
"It was also great to chat about mutual acquaintances."
