SCHOOLS in Derby have been sent copies of an anti-bullying CD containing songs written by children in the city.

All schools were invited to write and produce a piece of music on the theme and had the opportunity to record them at St Benedict Catholic School, Darley Abbey.

Those who took part included St Benedict, Merrill College, Boulton Primary, St George's Catholic Primary, St Joseph's Catholic Primary and Cavendish Close Junior.

Joanne Moore, Derby City Council's healthy schools consultant, said: "The schools should be very proud of their achievements."
