Drivers fined £30 for using shortcut
MOTORISTS taking an illegal shortcut in Derby have been targeted by police.
Officers stopped several drivers who tried to use the no-entry road between Darley Park Road and Darley Park Drive. Police say that although access is allowed for residents there is a clear no-entry sign, which some drivers are ignoring.
PC Rob Singleton, from the Darley beat team, said: "Several fines of £30 were imposed and a number of motorists turned round when they saw us."
