FIVE companies in Derby have been recognised for their excellent customer service.

The firms were put forward for the Swift Awards, which recognises “unsung” businesses, and they now join an elite group from over 30 UK cities to achieve such a status.

In Derby, out of a short list of 50 businesses, the five chosen were Pussy Willow Luxury Cat Hotel, at Elvaston; Laver Holidays, in the Eagle Market, Derby; 75 Transport, in Newmarket Drive, Derby; Littleover Service Station, in Burton Road; and Somerfield Allens Forecourt, in Duffield Road, Derby.

Martin Laver, manager of Laver Holidays, said: “We feel very honoured and privileged to receive this award. We pride ourselves on making our service as perfect as possible.”
