Evolution Studios has created major commercial driving game series' successes, including World Rally Championship and MotorStorm.

It hired all four of the students from the Derby BA (Hons) Computer Games Modelling and Animation (CGMA) course after they completed their degrees last summer. Ali Khalil, 25, who graduated from the CGMA course the previous year, was also taken on at the same time.

Andrew, originally of Worthing, West Sussex, said: "The contact for us all with Evolution Studios came through the academic staff on the Derby course. We were all given an art test and interviewed before being taken on at around the same time last October.

"It's great to get that first step into the games industry. We all work as 3D artists, creating three-dimensional models in a virtual space, which will feature in Evolution's next games title."

Adam, originally from South Staffordshire, added: "Evolution is giving us the opportunity to get involved with a wide range of 3D work and we're all learning a lot."
