AN investigation is being carried out following a fire at garages in Belper in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The blaze started just after 3am at two garages in Crich Lane, in Ridgeway, Belper and involved four propane cylinders.

The police were also called and fire investigation officers were at the scene yesterday morning to determine the cause of the fire.
