DERBY Telegraph reader Gary Cadman took this photograph of a man climbing the frozen Kinder Downfall.
The 46-year-old entered the What I Love About Derbyshire photography competition and said that he loved the county for the "countryside walks, close to every town and village wherever you may live".

Competition entrants must e-mail their original images to photocomp@ derbytelegraph.co.uk and include in the e-mail their name, age, full postal address, contact number and which category they are submitting under – Student (anyone in full-time or part-time education) or General Public (anyone else).
Entrants must also say where the picture was taken and include an explanation of the image, why they took it and, in 20 words or less, complete the sentence: "What I love about Derbyshire …"
