GARY Delaney will be the headline attraction at the next Funhouse Comedy night at Derby's Blessington Carriage.

You can catch Gary on Monday, February 13.

As well as being a performer in his own right, he is in demand as a comedy writer. He creates his own material and also finds time to write for TV and radio including 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock The Week, Russell Howard's Good News and Jason Manford's Comedy Rocks.

Last year his Twitter feed was nominated for a Chortle Award.

Also on the bill at the Chapel Street venue is actor and comedian Stuart Mitchell.

At his first ever gig, the judging panel of one of the UK's biggest comedy competitions gave him a special mention for his "amazing performance" and he went on to appear on Frank Skinner's TV show Opinionated.

A full supporting line-up of four other comedians features Fern Brady, Danny Sutcliffe, Rich Wall and the wildly surreal Fred Barber.

Compere for the night is Spiky Mike.

Tickets are £5 in advance and doors open at 8pm for an 8.30pm start. Go to www.funhousecomedy.co.uk for more details or call the venue on 01332 365988.
