German guests at school's project
PUPILS from Germany are visiting a Derbyshire school this week as part of an EU project.
Kirk Hallam Community Technology College is hosting the visitors from Weinberg School in Berlin from today for 10 days.
Pupils and teachers have visited the German school twice since 2008 and have been working on joint projects through the Comenius programme.
The schools have been working on the Take Two Film Project, with the aim of producing a short film which examines stereotypes.
The Comenius programme aims to develop knowledge and understanding of different European cultures and languages and help young people gain skills for their future lives and careers.
