Getting the bird at new homes
A housing provider is fitting bird-feeders to its latest development in Belper in a bid to look after the surrounding area's wildlife. Peveril Homes has built three-bedroom and four-bedroom homes off Nailers Way. Angela Thomas, marketing manager for Peveril Homes, said: "We recognise that the winter can be a challenging time for our feathered friends, especially when the ground is frozen and the availability of food becomes even more difficult. We hope that, by installing feeders, we are going some way towards helping local bird populations to survive." Pictured putting up a feeder is Marie Burrows, from Peveril Homes.
