A STRONG finish to the second round lifted Mel Reid squarely back into contention going into the last day of the Ladies European Tour SAS Ladies' Masters in Norway.
Starting the day near the top of the leaderboard following a six-under-par opening round of 67, Reid appeared in danger of allowing her chance to slip as she struggled through much of the second round.
