Now Is Good for release of actor Paddy's latest movie
BURTON actor Paddy Considine is appearing in a new film released this week.
Now is Good, based on the novel Before I Die, follows the journey of a young woman played by Dakota Fanning, who is diagnosed with terminal cancer and makes a list of all the things she wants to do before she dies.
Considine, who hails from Burton and won plaudits for his directorial debut Tyrannosaur last year, plays the cancer patient's father. The character struggles to accept her fate and tries to find a way to save her.
Considine is also a patron of Quad – a role also carried out by Alien star John Hurt.
Now Is Good has a 12A certificate and is released in cinemas on Wednesday.
