Harrold hits a ton to give Elvo cup delight
THE Bayley Cup final turned out to be a stroll for Elvaston seconds, as they thrashed Breadsall by nine wickets at Marehay after the morning rain relented.
Breadsall battled their way to 180-9 from 45 overs, with a top score of 43 not out from wicketkeeper Andy Robert-son, 34 from Mitch Bradley and 33 from Aidey Evans.
Elvaston made short work of the target, however, as the day got drier and brighter, with opener Jake Harrold hitting 110 not out, his second century in seven seasons with the club, both having come during this campaign. They passed the target with one wicket down in 39.3 overs.
