Harvey joins window winners
A FIVE-YEAR-OLD boy with Down's syndrome is taking pride of place in the windows of national clothing chain Next.
Harvey Simpson was named in the top 12 of 28,000 entrants in the Next Generation Children's Competition, which was looking for youngsters to feature in an advertising campaign.
The Heanor youngster's prize was a contract with the Urban Angels modelling agency and last month he took part in a Next photoshoot and catwalk. Now posters bearing Harvey's image – alongside the other 11 finalists – have been put up in the chain's shops across the country.
Mum Lisa, 32, of Brookfield Way, said: "We're so proud of what he's achieved. Next staff have been phenomenal as well, they've done wonders for Harvey and bent over backwards for him whenever we've been with them."
