Help to outlaw wild animals in circuses
AFTER the latest shocking evidence of violence and cruelty inflicted on wild animals being trained to entertain in circuses, the Government has launched a three-month public consultation.
This will effect how animals are treated for years to come and, hopefully, will mean the long campaigned-for ban on the use and abuse of wild animals in travelling circuses.
The majority of the public wants a ban and some caring councils have only allowed animal-free circuses on their land.
Now we can make a real difference by either writing a letter or filling in the questionnaire available from Animal Defenders, or you can complete online. Please be a compassionate voice for the suffering animals who deserve respect, care and a good, natural life.
Participate in the consultation and allow wild animals their dignity.
To find out, more visit the Animal Defenders Website www.ad-international.org or phone 020 7630 3340.
Please act before the deadline of March 15.
