SKY HIGH: Former Derbyshire opener Alan Hill is congratulated by cricketer turned commentator Mike Atherton after becoming one of the latest to receive an annual Sky TV award for grass-roots coaching.

Eighty coaches across the country are recognised and this is the second year of the awards.

Hill runs Staffordshire' s Academy, through which he has worked with hundreds of promising cricketers – to the extent that the county has the highest number of youngsters placed with first class county academies.
