BELPER Ladies had their EHL Conference North game at Durham postponed after a crash on the M1 on Saturday that left the motorway closed for almost 12 hours.

The Ladies will return to action on Sunday when Liverpool Sefton visit Repton School (1.30pm).

Meanwhile, a number of first-team players were in action for the Under-18s who beat Leek in the second round of the EH Cup.

Fresh from winning the Team of the Year award at this year's Derbyshire Sports Awards, Belper's Under-18s demonstrated their worth with a 5-0 hammering of their opponents.

Charlotte Hobbs (pictured) was the star of the show with a hat-trick.

Anna Toman and Joanna Lane completed the scoring.

The Nailers' under-16s were comprehensive 10-1 winners in their EH Cup game against Lichfield.

Brie Parkin led the scoring with a hat-trick, followed by two goals each from Nat Tipper and Becky Hawkins.

Kim Wilson, Rachel Griffiths and Kathryn Lane also scored.
