A HONEYMOON in New York followed the marriage of Catherine Kirby and Richard Johnson of Darley Abbey.

The bride is the daughter of Maria Kirby, of Sedgley, and the bridegroom is the son of Brenda and Trevor Johnson, of Burton. The couple were married at Breadsall Priory.

The bride was attended by Harriet Sarsfield, Angela McNaney, Sarah Shepherd, Ellanor Kirby and Helen Johnson.

The best man was Chris Lowe and the ushers were Richard Butler, Stuart Clarke and Simon Matthews.
