Hornets' Wilson looks set to stay at Vicarage Road
WATFORD'S football business director Ross Wilson will not be joining Derby County.
Wilson was seen as the favourite to fill a "director of football" role at Derby.

This week, Rams manager Nigel Clough dismissed talk of him being on a collision course with chief executive Tom Glick over the proposed appointment.
Clough said the club were looking at ways to improve the structure.
"We are talking about it and trying to find the best solution," added Clough.
Derby have said they will not comment on individual candidates for the role.
According to reports, Wilson has indicated that he sees his future at Vicarage Road.
DERBY County will monitor Craig Bryson's troublesome heel injury closely in a bid to keep him on the pitch.
The Rams hope the midfielder will be fit enough to return to action in tomorrow's East Midlands' clash against Leicester City at Pride Park Stadium.
He had been ever-present in the League this season until he missed Saturday's defeat at Southampton.
Nigel Clough said Bryson's absence was a blow, the 25-year-old Scot having made an impact following his move from Kilmarnock in the summer.
"Craig should train this week with a view to being fit on Thursday," added Clough.
"He will be on a reduced training schedule in the next few weeks because of his heel problem but we just have to get him out there for the matches."
Derby have confirmed that defender John Brayford has torn a thigh muscle.
The injury is similar to the one he suffered earlier this season and will sideline him for at least six weeks and potentially for the remainder of the season.

“Your first task is to get Messi for under a million and to pay him less than £10k per week but if you can get him on a season long loan and the host club paying the wages that would be better.
What do you mean impossible this is the mighty DCFC I can not understand why people will not play for free”

“Well, that's the guy from Everton who's turned the job down in the summer (ALLEGEDLY) and now someone from mighty Watford.
Maybe it's because the director of football under GSE would have to actually be Master of the Impossible; trying to buy top players for far less than the selling club wants and for less salary than the guys themselves are being offered elsewhere?
Talk about a poisoned chalice!”

“What we need to do is rush Bryson back while he is still injured so that he misses the rest of the season. I'm sure Nigel will do this any way without my advice.”

“If he had come would his salary have been taken out of Glick's?”
