THE beating of racehorses should be completely banned.

In fact, horse racing should no longer be allowed. It is definitely animal cruelty but nobody is brave enough to stand up to the people who think it should go on.

Why is it so necessary to have this sport? Horses are forced to run, many die in the process, and coupled with the extreme beating, it is completely unacceptable.

The only reason it is still continuing is because it lines the gamblers' pockets with money. They don't care about animal welfare.

I'm sure without horse racing they soon could find winnings elsewhere, but not involving innocent animals.
